Summary
Symmetri is seeking an Account Executive who is passionate about building client relationships and producing quality work in an agency environment. The ideal candidate possesses a can-do attitude and desire to never stop learning. They thrive in a fast paced environment while communicating effectively with cross functional teams and exceeding expectations.
Successful candidates for the Account Executive role must be detail-oriented, self-starters, critical thinkers and have the ability to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously. The primary role of the Account Executive will be to ensure projects run smoothly, manage the day-to-day turnaround of work internally and externally and ensure deliverables are produced on-strategy, on-time and on-budget.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate seamless delivery of client work in our web technology department
- Set up meetings with clients and other agency staff
- Communicate client expectations and feedback effectively
- Meet deadlines and prioritize tasks to keep timelines on track
- Brief creative, digital and/or development teams and manage project execution
- Review work against client feedback with a critical eye to ensure quality
- Act as a liaison between client and internal teams by maintaining regular contact with both and ensuring that communication flows effectively and proactively
- Learn and adopt agency process and reinforce with internal team members
- Budget and estimate development and management, with monthly invoicing support
- Build familiarity with the client's product, services, competitive and marketing needs to contribute effectively in meetings and on projects
- Support in annual planning and strategy sessions with account leadership
Qualifications
- 2-4 years relevant experience in a client facing account management role
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Impeccable attention to detail
- Ability to manage client and internal team expectations
- The ability to juggle multiple projects and clients simultaneously
- Exceptional client relationship skills
- An aptitude for problem-solving and critical thinking
- The ability to collaborate and act as a liaison across agency department teams
- Experience in website or software development project management preferred
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Google Slides/Sheets/Docs, Gmail, Drive
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, advertising or similar field
This is a hybrid role in Chicago, IL or Plymouth, MI with one in-office day per week.
