Summary

Symmetri is seeking an Account Supervisor who is passionate about building client relationships and producing quality work in an agency environment. The ideal candidate possesses a can-do attitude and desire to never stop learning. They thrive in a fast paced environment while communicating effectively with cross functional teams and exceeding expectations.


Successful candidates for the Account Supervisor role must be detail-oriented, self-starters, critical thinkers and have the ability to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously. The primary role of the Account Supervisor will be to ensure projects run smoothly, leading multiple accounts and personnel while ensuring budget and profitability across clients. This role is specifically focused on digital marketing, web design and development, so experience in those marketing pillars is critical. Experience supporting full website redesigns and web application projects within a mature agile practice is preferred.



Responsibilities


  • Serve as the ultimate point of contact and accountability on web and digital marketing engagements, both internally and with client teams
  • Partner with project managers to facilitate seamless delivery of client work
  • Communicate client expectations and feedback effectively
  • Meet deadlines and prioritize tasks to keep timelines on track
  • Brief creative, digital and/or development teams and manage project execution
  • Review work against client feedback with a critical eye to ensure quality
  • Stay ahead of the curve on web and digital marketing trends
  • Learn and adopt agency process and reinforce with internal team members
  • Manage budgets and profitability of assigned clients. Work with the management team to develop proposals and ongoing client scopes.
  • Establish strong relationships across all agency disciplines and offerings
  • Lead annual planning and strategy sessions with management support
  • Take initiative in bringing new ideas to internal and client teams to sell additional work


Qualifications


  • 6-8 years of relevant experience in a client-facing account management role
  • Experience leading large-scale web builds and digital marketing accounts (SEO, email, paid media, etc.) from an account management perspective
  • Strong communication style to lead teams internally and manage clients externally
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies is preferred for supporting agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives when applicable
  • The ability to collaborate and act as a liaison across agency department teams
  • Impeccable attention to detail and organization
  • Ability to manage client and internal team expectations
  • The ability to juggle multiple projects and clients simultaneously
  • Exceptional client relationship skills
  • An aptitude for problem-solving and critical thinking
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Google Slides/Sheets/Docs, Gmail, Drive
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, advertising or similar field
