Job Description

Summary

Responsible for administering physical and financial natural gas transaction confirmations, amendments and other contract modifications.

Essential Duties / Responsibilities

Process physical and financial natural gas commodity transaction confirmations.
Interface with counterparties for timely dispute resolution.
Perform assigned SOX controls and testing as well as supporting periodic audits and reviews.
Interface with Trading, Scheduling and IT to perform counterparty and related data mappings through the ICE trading platform, as well as ICE eConfirm.
Maintain and track status of contract documents.
Maintain complete and accurate contract records in electronic format that are organized in a manner that is effective and accessible for stakeholders. Responsible for maintenance and integrity of contractual reference data in ETRM system.

Education

Requires a bachelor’s degree or a combination of education and work experience.

Experience

Requires a t l east two years of gas industry trading experience in contract administration, settlements, trading, scheduling, mid office or back office.

Additional Knowledge, Skills, Licenses / Certifications, Abilities & Personal Characteristics (KSLAPs)

Endur ETRM system experience is a plus.

Able to demonstrate and apply comprehensive industry knowledge and skills, including : process automation options, legal aspects of contracting, contract types and suitability. Exposure to best practice contracting procedures.

Able to use communication and interpersonal skills to communicate clearly, effectively, timely and persuasively.

Able to exercise discretion, tact and good judgment in dealing with co-workers, clients, vendors and the public.

Able to cultivate relationships and collaborate across boundaries and share information proactively to achieve goals while being fair to others.

Able to negotiate skillfully to resolve differences effectively while maintaining relationships.

Able to foster and participate successfully in a team based environment to accomplish assignments and produce results through others while maintaining a high level of morale.

Able to work with confidential information, materials and files in an appropriate, professional and discrete manner.

Able to function innovatively, including being receptive to new ideas, approaches and processes.

Able to motivate self to accomplish projects and achieve goals with minimal supervision, including self-directed learning.

Physical Requirements

Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and / or less than 10 pounds of force frequently or constantly to move / lift objects.

Working Conditions :

General office duties.

Able to support the Emergency Operating Plan.
