Overview
We are seeking a physical therapist with 3 years of experience in the out-patient orthopedic setting, preferably including spine care, for full or part-time employment. We are flexible regarding work schedule and would entertain the possibility of contract employment. Symmetry PT & Scoliosis Care is a small, woman owned out-patient physical therapy clinic specializing in helping individuals who have complex spinal dysfunction including scoliosis. We are passionate about providing care for this underserved population, but we also treat people with general orthopedic conditions. The physical therapist who will join us needs to be interested in learning how to treat patients with complex spinal deformities and enjoy being professionally challenged. In return, they will reap the reward of really making a difference in people’s lives. We want someone who will be more than an employee, they will become a member of our clinic family.We treat primarily in private rooms for a minimum of 60-minute appointments. Due to the unique nature of our treatment approach and the distances patients travel to see us. we also offer extended 2 hour appointments.The owners each have 30 years of experience and look forward to mentorship and collaboration with our new colleague. We place a high importance on continued learning and will provide $1000/year for continuing education. In addition we will pay for specialized training in scoliosis treatment with a contract commitment.
Job Description:
- Perform PT evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide hands-on therapy and movement education to aid in the recovery process or prevent progression
- Educate patients and their families on home programs and self-care techniques
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Requirements
- Active PT license in the state of Washington
- 3 years experience in orthopedic outpatient PT setting.
- Structural Integration or manual PT skills a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
Pay: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
