SR Ops Accountant

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Assists in preparing monthly reports such as key operating parameters and analyses of standard cost variances.
• Controls standard cost data to ensure consistency across the Company
• Responsible for all aspects of accounting related to Freight
• Assists in preparation of cost analyses for capital spending, source of supply, or margin analyses.
• Monitor inventories at production facilities.
• Assist in spending budget preparation for assigned facilities.
• Supports monthly close process and annual external audits.
• Performs other financial analysis as required.

Education/Expereince

Bachelors in Accounting. Two or more years of relevant practical industrial or public accounting experience required. Experience in manufacturing environment preferred. CPA, MBA, CMA desirable.

• Advanced Excel skills required as well as ability to manipulate data from various sources.
• Ability to write summaries that conform to a prescribed style and format.
• Ability to effectively present information.
