Job Summary
The Unit Manager - Registered Nurse (RN) will oversee the daily operations of the Transitional Care Unit, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care while promoting a culture of safety and excellence.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and maintain nursing service objectives, standards of nursing practice, and the nursing policies and procedures manual.
- Provide orientation, training, and in-services to staff members.
- Supervise Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) staff and complete required record keeping.
- Implement and maintain established policies and procedures, including quality assurance, safety, and infection control protocols.
- Make daily rounds of the unit and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
