Desktop Support / Systems Support
Internal - Part time or fultime role
Madison , WI
- Laptop Staging and Configuration: Prepare, configure, and deploy laptops for new and existing employees.
- User Support: Provide support for Microsoft Office applications and resolve related technical issues. User support is on-site and remote.
- Operating Systems: Troubleshoot and maintain devices running Windows 10 and newer
- Technical Support: Provide remote and in-person support for hardware, software, and peripheral issues.
- Email Management: Assist users with email backups, restores, and troubleshooting issues related to Office applications.
- RMM Tools: Utilize Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) tools for patch management and remote access to proactively monitor, maintain, and resolve IT system issues.
Server and Network Support
- Active Directory Management: Create, update, and manage user accounts, group policies, and permissions in Active Directory.
- Cloud Support: Provide Microsoft 365 support: ENTRA ID, Exchange, SharePoint, Azure
- OS Support: Server 2016 and newer. Support server migrations to newer operating systems.
- File & Printer Support: Install, configure, and troubleshoot printers, including networked and standalone devices.
- SonicWall Support: Configure and troubleshoot user and site-to-site VPN support as well as maintain firewall rules. Maintain firmware updates.
- Application Support: Keep applications up to date.
Maintenance
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of support tickets, troubleshooting steps, IT inventory, and solutions.
- Audits: Maintain policies and procedures. Assist with customer questions.
- Inventory Control: Track, manage, and maintain IT inventory, including hardware and software assets.
- Ticketing System: Handle incoming tickets and maintain system
