Job Title: DevOps / System Administration Opportunity (Remote)

Location- Remote in WI

Looking f & USC

10 years experience, with a strong focus on DevOps (SRE is also okay).

Must be certified in DevOps on one of the major cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

Hands-on with PostgreSQL since 2021, and not just listed on the resume should have detailed bullet points showing how they used it.

Experience in PERN stack (Postgres, Express, React, Node) on the last project, again with detailed description.

Using GitHub Actions since 2019.

Used Azure DevOps before 2021.

Ansible since 2016.

Python since 2016, with a minor mention of PowerShell.

DevSecOps since 2019 (security in DevOps).

OIDC (OpenID Connect) experience since 2019.

Familiar with VMWare in most jobs, and Hyper-V in at least one jobs

• If the candidate is currently local to Wisconsin and has a history of working in the State:

o 8 years in DevOps or Sys Admin Tier 3 roles aa p

o PostgreSQL Administration Roles (replication, backup, tuning, etc.)

o Deployment pipelines for PERN stack applications for both cloud and on-prem setups

o OpenID Connect (OIDC)

o VMware or Hyper-V

o DevSecOps

o SRE Roles

• If the candidate would need to relocate to Wisconsin for the role (would want to see 5-6 of these):

o 10 years (versus 8 above)

o Scripting/Automation exposure with BASH or Python (or similar)

o Linux Application Administrator

o CI/CD via Github Actions (Azure DevOps is a bonus)

o Ubuntu or RHEL exposure

o Basic Networking (Security, Firewalls, VPNs, SSH Hardening)

o IAM Tools (Entra ID, Okta, Active Directory, or similar)
