EXPERIENCE : Minimum of 3 years first assist or if new candidate recently completed a surgical residency.
LOCATION : Southern Westchester County, New York.
JOB SUMMARY :
Excellent opportunity for experienced PA to work in a hospital-based surgical practice. Function under the supervision of supervising attending surgeon on each of the following services listed below. Staff PAs comprise the surgical house-staff and as part of the attending MD / PA team, PAs are involved in the total care of the surgical patient from admission to discharge.
- First Assistant in a variety of specialties : Bariatric, General, Head & Neck, OBGYN, Orthopedic, Vascular, Plastics, Neurosurgery, and Thoracic.
- DaVinci Robot experience a plus but not necessary as we will train.
- Morning rounds.
- Pre-op and Post-op surgical patients.
- History and Physicals on routine and emergent admissions.
- Perform surgical consultations.
SKILLS / REQUIREMENTS :
Compensation : Includes On-Call Responsibility.
Salary : $143,325 - $165,368
