Job Summary:
Under the direction of the Life Enrichment Director, the Activity Assistant is responsible with assisting to ensure compliance for a well-rounded Life Enrichment program that promotes the needs of the residents while complying with overall operation of the Recreation Therapy Department according to state and federal guidelines.
Essential Functions:
- Assist our residents’ with activities to provide social communication, entertainment, exercise and relaxation for our residents.
- Lead group and individual resident activities
- Complete required record keeping per facility policy
Qualifications/Experience:
- Ability to plan, organize, and lead activities
- Ability to work every other weekend as well as some holidays
- 1 years’ experience in a social or recreational program in a healthcare setting (preferred)
Salary : $50
