Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Demonstrating strong interpersonal and organizational skills to effectively interact with clients and manage their insurance needs.
- Utilizing a systematic approach to maintain regular contact with clients, ensuring continuous rapport and open, effective communication.
- Performing account servicing functions, including miscellaneous office duties, to support smooth account management operations.
- Managing client open items lists and promptly responding to ad-hoc client requests to ensure outstanding service delivery.
- Actively supporting and monitoring the renewal, pre-renewal, and post-renewal process, ensuring seamless transitions for our clients.
- Participating in, and sometimes leading, the marketing of renewals and new placements, showcasing your expertise in insurance products and solutions.
- Collaborating closely with the accounting team on client invoicing and collections, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution of financial matters.
- Acting as a key client liaison for various needs, such as certificates, auto IDs, endorsement processing, invoices, WC posting notices, allocations, premium finance agreements, summaries of insurance, and policy transmittals.
- Handling routine and complex coverage inquiries and endorsement requests efficiently and professionally.
- Performing any additional duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the team and the firm.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in the insurance industry.
- Current P&C Insurance license.
- Proven track record in client relationship management, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and project management abilities to handle multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Prior experience in account servicing and insurance brokerage operations.
- Proficiency in insurance policy structures and coverage options.
- Knowledge of insurance industry regulations and best practices.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions independently.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and insurance-specific software. Experience with AMS 360 is a plus.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to sit or stand at a desk. Must be able to physically operate desktop computers, multiple monitors, proprietary software, phones, and common office equipment. Occasional bending, reaching, and light lifting (up to 10 lb.) is required. The ability to effectively listen, and understand, and communicate by telephone and in person is important to fulfilling the essential functions of the job.
Work Environment
This position is a full-time, hybrid/remote position in our Chicago, IL office. Occasionally working after hours may be required in order to meet the demands and deadlines associated with the position. The work environment involves the use of typical office equipment such as computer, printer, telephone, etc. in a controlled climate.
Travel Requirements
Some travel is required for this position.
Salary : $60,000 - $70,000
