HR Jr Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an HR Jr Manager to join our team at our Austin, TX location. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the HR Manager in all aspects of human resources management, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance. The HR Jr Manager will be a key member of the HR team and will work closely with other departments to ensure the successful delivery of HR services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the HR Manager in recruitment efforts, including posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews
• Provide support in employee relations matters, including responding to employee inquiries and concerns, conducting investigations, and recommending appropriate actions
• Assist in performance management activities, including coordinating performance evaluations and counseling employees on performance improvement
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
• Maintain employee files and HR records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
• Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
• 1-2 years of experience in HR or related field
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
• Proficiency in MS Office and HRIS systems
