Your key tasks:
- Should have experience implementing data pipelines
- Hands-on development experience in Spark.
- Hands-on Development experience in DataBricks pipeline and optimization.
- Hands-on experience on AWS services
- Hands-on experience on ElasticSearch
- Should have good SQL knowledge and Query Optimization
- Should have knowledge on REST API.
- Lead individual projects priorities, deadlines and deliverables using AGILE methodologies
- Lead the team of developers with effective planning, executions and team management.
- Work with product management and business users to define the roadmap for the product
- Be a leader with vision and a partner in brainstorming solutions for team productivity, efficiency, training and motivating developers
- Create tools and systems that will make our team more scalable
- Collaborate effectively with Stakeholders
- Need to be upto date in the data engineering space.
- Deliver high efficiency, high availability, fault tolerant software systems
- Design and develop innovative solutions to complex problems, identifying issues and roadblocks
Must have Skills:
- Excellent knowledge of Databricks, pySpark.
- 5 to 9 years of overall experience with hands-on expertise in Databricks and workflow.
- Excellent knowledge of Apache Spark and other libraries used in conjunction and associated capabilities of the platform.
- Excellent knowledge of AWS services - EMR, Lambda, SNS, Code pipeline, RDS, Athena, EC2, S3
- Excellent knowledge of Database SQL, performance tuning, data modeling.
- Excellent knowledge of ElasticSearch
- Data Modelling skills
- Automation, Orchestration,
- Security and Governance of data
- CI/CD
- Experience with relational and non-relational databases
- Ability to catalog, locate and identify patterns and anomalies in large datasets
- Experience leading the team of developers
Good to have skills:
- Knowledge of Java REST API
- understanding of UNIX/LINUX environments.
- Knowledge of Jasper server reporting BI tool
- Knowledge of behavioral data tracking
