This is your opportunity to lead SymphonyAI’s US retail partner growth agenda with Microsoft as your primary theater of execution.

As the US Retail Partner Sales Director, your mandate is to develop and scale our retail co-sell motion with Microsoft. You will own executive alignment, field engagement, and pipeline acceleration initiatives across the US retail segment. You’ll act as the strategic quarterback, aligning SymphonyAI’s value with Microsoft’s sales priorities to drive measurable growth and visibility.

Job Description

What You’ll Do:

  • Own the Microsoft Co-Sell Strategy Build and execute a Microsoft-focused sales plan to expand SymphonyAI’s US retail footprint through co-sell, solution plays, and Azure Marketplace activation.
  • Drive Partner-Led Revenue Growth Deliver against ARR targets by engaging Microsoft field teams, orchestrating joint pursuits, and unlocking new accounts in the retail sector.
  • Deepen Microsoft Engagement Build trusted relationships with Microsoft’s Retail Industry Team, Partner Development Managers (PDMs), Global Partner Solutions (GPS), and Azure Sales leads.
  • Field Enablement & Execution Drive Microsoft field alignment via deal registrations, readiness sessions, and sales enablement initiatives that result in joint wins.
  • Pipeline Management & Forecasting Own the partner pipeline with a disciplined sales process—track joint opportunities, measure co-sell conversion, and report weekly to leadership.
  • Strategic Account Mapping Partner with Microsoft on shared account planning, territory alignment, and vertical GTM plays targeting top-tier US retailers.
  • Microsoft Marketing Collaboration Coordinate with SymphonyAI and Microsoft marketing teams to co-develop campaigns, events, and joint solution assets.
  • Influence Microsoft Strategy Represent SymphonyAI in Microsoft’s key partner forums and industry councils, advocating for joint customer success and resource prioritization.
  • Internal Evangelism & Cross-Functional Alignment Serve as the Microsoft champion within SymphonyAI Retail—driving alignment across product, marketing, solutions, and executive teams.

What You’ll Bring

  • Proven Sales Leadership: 15 years in enterprise sales or partner-led GTM roles; minimum 5 years in retail or consumer-facing sectors.
  • Microsoft Ecosystem Expertise: Extensive experience managing co-sell with Microsoft, navigating Azure incentives, and partnering with PDMs, ISD/ISV, or Industry teams.
  • Retail Domain Acumen: Clear understanding of retail business models, enterprise buying cycles, and key transformation challenges across merchandising, store ops, and supply chain.
  • Track Record of Co-Sell Success: Demonstrated ability to build high-quality Microsoft pipelines, accelerate win rates, and land strategic logos through joint motions.
  • Strategic Relationship Management: Executive presence and strong influencing skills to build trust across SymphonyAI and Microsoft stakeholders.
  • Operational Rigor: Deep experience in sales process management, partner KPIs, and co-sell forecasting; familiarity with PRM tools and MS Partner Center.
  • Excellent Communication: Ability to craft compelling partner narratives, host joint business reviews, and present at Microsoft-led events.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
  • Preferred: Strong personal network across Microsoft’s US retail field and GPS teams.
