Symphorien-Saavedra Law is a boutique firm in downtown Orlando that specializes in immigration law – it is our sole and passionate focus. We handle small cases, big cases, and in-between cases and have the flexibility to adjust our services to mee our clients’ needs. We are searching for an experienced immigration paralegal to add to our team.

About Us
We are not your average law firm. We have a family centered firm – our team members are friends with each other and often meet after hours. We have an answering service for our calls so that we can focus on our client’s cases and getting things done. Once a month we close the office to clients so that we can focus on our work. We believe in work/life balance and overtime is rare.
Our ideal candidate has 2 years’ experience as an immigration paralegal, speaks Spanish or Portuguese, and is searching for a career and not just a job. You should apply if you meet the following qualities: You are highly organized and perform well under moderate pressure. You also work well independently and as part of a team.
Your duties include:
- Communicating with clients on the phone and via email
- Gathering documentation to support the benefit applications
- Creating a package for immigration that complies with federal instructions
- Filing the immigration package
- Follow up with clients to obtain documentation
Experience & Requirements:
- 2 years’ immigration paralegal experience
- Spanish or Portuguese speaker is required
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills verbal and written
- Proficiency in Outlook and Word
- Knowledge of Docketwise is preferred but not required
- Work well under pressure
Salary is dependent on your experience.
