Your Role
Ideal candidates will possess the following:
■ 3 years of running/optimizing Spray Dryers (Box and Tower)
■ Managerial / supervisory experience in a food manufacturing facility
■ Experience implementing/utilizing Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
■ Project management in a manufacturing environment; preference to experience with stage-gate project management.
■ Engineering and/or Maintenance/Reliability experience within a manufacturing environment.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
■ Drive yield improvements, cost savings, and process improvements in all manufacturing facilities
■ Research and experiment with new technologies and methods for process optimization
■ Develop and refine optimal running parameters for different products within Spray Drying and Liquid Processes
■ Suggest and support Safety and Quality Improvements
■ Establish expert knowledge and technical expertise in running and troubleshooting powder and liquid technologies in food. (i.e., spray-drying, pasteurization, membrane filtration, liquid separation, flavor and palatability processing, etc.)
■ Define and simulate process flow diagrams and write standard operating procedures.
■ Collect and organize process data to discover opportunities for process improvement
■ Support local and global expert teams in implementing new technology.
■ Support local teams with troubleshooting and RCAs as needed
Experience level:
■ Bachelor's degree required in Engineering or Similar Field, or equivalent work experience
■ Experience working in Continuous Improvement, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, etc.
■ Experience with data collection and analysis
■ Experience with controls and automation
Willingness to travel:
Up to 50%
Work Location: Within driving distance to one of the following Production Facilities: Hodges, SC; Social Circle, GA; Verona, MO
Schedule:
- 8-hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- On call

- In-person
- In the field
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Hodges, SC: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Experience:
- Optimizing Spray Dryers (Box and Tower): 2 years (Required)
