• Responsibility for the production processes at the Hodges, SC facility; with responsibility for the manufacturing process for all products.
• Ensuring processes are understood and consistently executed to ensure product and team member safety goals are attained,
• Working with other functional areas, i.e. Quality, Safety, and R&D promote the overall efficiency.
• Responsible for achieving production results including yield and production volumes, site reliability, planned and unplanned maintenance, inventory, and ensuring that Quality and Safety Requirements are always met.

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Bachelor’s degree in food science / engineering, related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• 5 years of demonstrated management experience in manufacturing with at least 3 years manufacturing experience.
• Thorough knowledge of Food Sanitation, HACCP, food safety and GMP principles.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to plan, organize prioritize, and achieve effective time management.
• Demonstrated knowledge of efficient and safe manufacturing operations to include product and associate safety, product quality (success rates), throughput delivery and cost control (minimizing downtime and waste, optimizing yield).
• Computer proficiency in electronic communication in Microsoft Office
• Position requires ability to work overtime, varying start times and weekends dependent on business needs.
• Positive attitude and willingness to work with others in a team environment.
• Expert level of proficiency and understanding of problem solving and contingency management, including the ability to understand cause and effect and implement actions plans to drive positive results.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
