Professional Certifications | Board certification in radiation oncology from the American Board of Radiology (ABR) A current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or equivalent Possession of a current, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia Board Certified by the ABR |
Years of Professional Experience | 5 years of clinical experience (excluding residency) Three (3) years of experience in Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT) and Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT) A minimum of 10 documented cases within the last two (2) years in Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS) Three (3) years of Eclipse treatment planning system experience Three (3) years of ARIA record and verify system, including the following treatment modalities: 2D/3D Conformal, SRS, SRT, SBRT, and IMRT/VMAT (following standards of Task Group (TG)-53). |

Formal Education | Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree or an equivalent degree resulting from a course of education in medicine or osteopathic medicine from a school approved by VA for the year in which the course of study was completed Graduation from a radiation oncology residence |
