At Syn-Mar, we’re seeking a Fabricator who isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves and dive into the heart of manufacturing. Your mission? To cut, assemble, and finish high-quality Engineered Stone products with precision and care. You’ll use a mix of hand tools, hand-held power tools, and machinery to bring our innovative designs to life.

About the Role:

Reporting to the Production Manager, the Fabricator is responsible for:

  • Operating cast polymer saws and routers to perform fabrication work.
  • Inspecting fabricated pieces to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
  • Contributing to the creation of high-quality cast polymer products.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

As a Fabricator, you’ll play a key role in our production process. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Operating machinery: Cast polymer saws and routers to shape and fabricate products.
  • Quality assurance: Measuring and inspecting parts to ensure they meet specifications and tolerances.
  • Fabrication tasks: edge preparation, sink bowl mounting, finished part assembly, cutout locations, shower base assembly.
  • Final preparation: Inspecting, labeling, and preparing fabricated parts for shipment and/or installation.

Qualifications:

We’re looking for candidates who bring the following:

  • Education: High school diploma or GED required.
  • Experience:
  • 2 years of experience with standard woodworking or fabrication equipment (preferred).
  • Proven ability to succeed in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in kitchen and bath or plastics fabrication/manufacturing (preferred).
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret manufacturing instructions and customer orders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Time management and organizational abilities.
  • Experience with CNC equipment is a plus – but we’re willing to train the right candidate!

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
