The Interior Designer’s Main Responsibilities Will Include

The Interior Designer’s Main Responsibilities Will Include
- Revises drawings, presentations and renderings as assigned.
- Participate in client meetings and presentations, providing support to senior designers and helping to address client feedback and inquiries.
- Assist in creating presentation materials and boards for client presentations.
- Prepare construction document sets (i.e., interior plans, RCP, power and fixture plans, elevations, Millwork details, Interior details, Schedules).
- Able to identify when to apply codes to production drawings.
- Work collaboratively with other team members, including architects, contractors, and vendors, to coordinate design implementation and ensure project success.
- Assists with the development of interiors concepts based on client vision, desire, project scope and architectural concept.
- Utilizes creative thinking to achieve innovative solutions.
- Conducts research (i.e., conceptual, site, client, materials) for the project team.
- Schedules updates with vendors and maintains finish library.
- Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketchup, InDesign and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; must be a team player.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards
- Problem solving skills, attention to detail, and motivation to learn
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in projects such as, workspace, hospitality, institutional, commercial, governmental, retail, or mixed-use projects.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture or related field
