- Assist with AR and AP processes, including data entry, invoice tracking, and reconciliations
- Support the accounting team in catching up on outstanding transactions and documentation
- Collaborate with Purchasing and Receiving departments to help close out open purchase orders
- Verify and prepare vendor payments, ensuring timely and accurate processing
- Review and organize financial records for accuracy and completeness
- Maintain clear and organized digital and physical files in accordance with company procedures
- Participate in weekly accounting team check-ins and cross-functional meetings
- Perform ad hoc administrative and finance-related tasks as needed
- Exposure to full-cycle accounting operations including AR, AP, and vendor management
- Insight into purchasing, receiving, and payment workflows
- Hands-on training in financial systems and tools
- Mentorship from experienced professionals in both accounting and finance functions
- Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable learning new systems
- Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively in a team environment
- Prior internship or coursework in accounting or finance is a plus, but not required
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills—able to ask thoughtful questions and clearly share ideas
- Organized and proactive; able to manage tasks and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
- Willingness to collaborate with different teams, including Finance, Purchasing, and Operations
- Curious and analytical mindset with attention to detail—comfortable working with numbers and finding patterns
- Adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Eager to take initiative, learn new things, and contribute to process improvements
