OVERVIEW

Join our dynamic team at Synapse ITS, a leader in traffic safety product manufacturing, where innovation and technology drive everything we do! We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Junior IT Technician to support our Canada office and ensure seamless technology operations in a fast-paced environment. In this role, you'll provide essential hardware and software support, troubleshoot network and system issues, manage equipment setups, and assist with remote software support and user training. If you’re tech-savvy problem solver with strong customer service skills, this is the perfect opportunity to make a real impact and grow your IT career.

This is a permanent full-time role. This is an in-person role, requiring the successful candidate to be located in Victoria, BC. The salary range is $70,000-$80,000.

Your Primary Responsibilities

• Provide hardware support for office equipment, including copiers, laptops, and other devices.
• Answer user inquiries regarding computer software or hardware operation to resolve problems.
• Oversee the daily performance of computer systems and networks.
• Set up equipment for employee use, including proper installation of cables, operating systems, and software.
• Manage remote software support, including account setup for new hires, email configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Maintain records of technical issues and resolutions.
• Perform basic network troubleshooting and configuration tasks, such as VPN setup and DHCP management.
