Position Overview
Synapses IOM is seeking an ambitious, self-motivated individual who enjoys learning and works well in a team environment. The Administrative Assistant will need to demonstrate advanced skills in organization and calendar management to prioritize tasks easily. This individual will be responsible for a variety of tasks within the office, and training will be provided for this position.
Responsibilities
- Provides administrative support to the Revenue Cycle Management Team, Clinical Team, and HR Team
- Coordinate and maintain all calendars, schedules, and emails throughout the office
- Prepare claims for submission to the appropriate portals for Arbitration
- Submit correct documentation to the appropriate portals for HR purposes
- Follows-up with appropriate parties in a timely manner to complete open tasks
- Maintains office services by organizing office operations and procedures, controlling correspondence, assisting implementation of new processes, assigning and monitoring clerical functions
- Notating specifics and details as needed for next steps and follow-ups
- Following all applicable compliance protocols in accordance with HIPAA, and federal and state guidelines
Requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and on a team
- Ability to prioritize and work multiple tasks in a changing work environment
- Accurate and efficient keyboarding skills
- Excellent organizational skills, accuracy and thoroughness
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- US Work Authorization
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferred
