Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Field Technician / Drive Tester to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting on-site field tests, including drive testing for wireless networks, and providing technical support for installations and maintenance. You will work closely with engineers to collect data, perform diagnostics, and ensure the quality of network performance. This position requires the ability to work independently, handle technical equipment, and follow safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct field tests and drive testing to assess network performance.
Operate specialized testing equipment and troubleshoot issues during field operations.
Collect and analyze data from testing activities and generate detailed reports.
Perform maintenance and minor repairs on network infrastructure when necessary.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations while working in the field.
Collaborate with the engineering team to identify performance issues and recommend solutions.
Maintain accurate logs and documentation of all testing and technical activities.
Ensure all test equipment is properly calibrated and in working condition.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid U.S. driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- U.S. work authorization (citizenship, permanent resident, or valid work visa).
- Basic understanding of wireless technologies (Wi-Fi, LTE, 5G, etc.) is preferred but not required.
- Ability to use various testing equipment (training will be provided).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Willingness to travel locally and regionally as required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
