Job Description :

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Medical Biller to join our team in Bridgewater, NJ. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring accurate and efficient billing processes for our healthcare facility. Your responsibilities will include processing insurance claims, verifying patient information, coding medical procedures, following up on outstanding claims, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.

Key Responsibilities :

• Accurately prepare and submit medical claims to insurance providers.
• Review and verify patient information, insurance details, and coding accuracy.
• Follow up on unpaid or denied claims to ensure timely reimbursement.
• Reconcile patient accounts and handle billing inquiries.
• Maintain compliance with industry regulations and billing best practices.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and administrative staff to resolve billing issues.

Qualifications :

• Previous experience in medical billing and coding preferred.

Associate degree required (Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field preferred)

• 2 years’ experience as a Medical Biller
• Knowledge of medical terminology, CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes.
• Familiarity with insurance guidelines and claims processing.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in billing software and electronic health records (EHR) systems.

NetHealth experience preferred

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
• Able to multi-task and meet tight deadlines
