Job Description :
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Physical Therapist Aide to join our team in Bridgewater, NJ. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting our physical therapy team and ensuring a smooth and efficient patient care experience. Your responsibilities will include preparing treatment areas, assisting patients with exercises under supervision, cleaning and maintaining equipment, scheduling appointments, and providing administrative support as needed. Key Responsibilities :
- The Physical Therapist Aide is the liaison between the patient and the Physical Therapist
- Works as a team member to make sure patient receives a positive experience from their time of arrival to their departure
- Welcoming patients and escorting them from reception areas to treatment rooms
- Responsible for calling patients into the treatment from the waiting room
- Able to answer phone calls and schedule patients as needed
- Maintains a clean facility throughout the day
- Preparing and setting up all equipment in the treatment areas
- Maintains a positive, professional demeanor at all times
- Other duties as assigned
- High School Diploma
- Familiarity with PT equipment
- Excellent customer service skills as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility and adaptability necessary to adjust to fluid situations is a must
