Position: Network Engineer
Location: Onsite in Fort Worth, Texas
Duration: Full-Time / Direct Hire
We are currently assisting our client in finding a skilled Network Engineer to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth of a fast-paced, dynamic organization.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and configure network devices (routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, SANs) to ensure high availability and performance
- Perform network maintenance, including firmware updates, security patches, and system upgrades
- Provide Level 2/3 troubleshooting and resolve technical issues
- Monitor network performance, capacity planning, and system utilization
- Collaborate with the security team to implement best practices, security tools, and protocols (DNS, VPN, IPSEC)
- Travel to new store locations to support setup and go-live
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in maintaining enterprise networks and communications
- Experience with firewalls (Dell SonicWall, Palo Alto), Cisco layer 2 switching, fiber switching, and WiFi technologies
- Familiarity with network protocols
