Synchron, LLC has an exciting opportunity for a Security Specialist to provide support to NAVSEA’s Program Executive Office Integrated Warfare Systems (IWS) Front Office. We are looking for qualified individuals to provide support to this important program office.
Responsibilities:

Responsibilities:
- Provide program security support services
- Process and maintain security actions such as visit requests, security badge paperwork, network access requests, and office security procedures
- Prepare and maintain security instructions, security classification guides, DD-254’s, and briefing materials
- Additional related tasks as required in support of the program.
- Active Secret Clearance
- Must demonstrate knowledge of security classification methods, concepts, eligibility for access to classified or sensitive information and the process for granting personnel security clearances/accesses,
- Must have experience with commonly applied security principles, concepts, and methodologies in carrying out information, personnel, and physical security programs related to the protection of SCI
- Specialist must have knowledge of the methods of performing such duties as conducting inspections and investigations, collecting and analyzing information, etc., and skill in weighing the impact of variables such as critical personnel qualifications, variations in building construction characteristics, access and entry restrictions, equipment availability, and other issues that influence the course of actions taken in resolving security questions and issues
- BS and 7 years of related professional experience OR High School Degree and 11 years of related professional experience
