What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field PM Mechanic position at Synchronize?
Job Title: Field PM Mechanic
Reports to: Service Manager
Ensure all regularly scheduled maintenance on equipment rented in the field is completed at appropriate intervals in a safe, efficient, and professional manner.
Essential Functions:
- Possesses knowledge of multiple types of equipment.
- Reads and interprets equipment technical manuals in order to complete equipment services accurately.
- Follows all safety protocols instituted by Impact, and if more stringent, by the job site general contractor where the equipment is located.
- Enters all pertinent information into equipment maintenance software work order system, recording in detail the services completed.
- Follows DOT guidelines associated with driving a commercial vehicle.
- Maintains a clean and organized service vehicle paying close attention to branding standards.
- Schedules and coordinates with job sites for equipment service to ensure minimal downtime and efficiency for all parties.
- Takes recommended oil samples at scheduled intervals and submits them promptly to the appropriate company for analysis.
- Reports abuse of equipment or customer damage.
- Cleans, lubricates, and performs other routine maintenance work on equipment.
Qualifications:
- Must have a Class B CDL
- Must pass DOT physical.
- Must have a clean MVR.
- Must have knowledge of multiple types of equipment.
- Must be able to read and interpret equipment technical manuals to complete equipment services accurately.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced, team environment.
Physical Requirements:
- Must have physical stamina and strength to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to lift up to 90 lbs.
- Must work outside in all different weather conditions including extreme cold and extreme heat
