Job Responsibilities
The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) plays a vital role in our interdisciplinary team, working under the supervision of a Physical Therapist to provide therapeutic interventions.
Requirements
A valid state PTA licensure or certification is required and must be maintained. Current CPR certification is preferred.
Qualifications
An accredited degree in Physical Therapist Assistant is essential. We seek candidates with 0-1 year of experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with Physical Therapists.
- Monitor patient progress, documenting responses to therapy and reporting findings to the supervising Physical Therapist.
- Educate patients and their families on safe exercise techniques and strategies for continued progress at home.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive patient care.
