Job Description:
Role Summary/Purpose:
Responsible for managing the ‘3rd party Risk’ for Fiserv and other suppliers. Develops and implements comprehensive supplier monitoring plans which include SLAs, risk & issue management, ensuring adherence to SYF Supplier management standards. Responsible for new service requests including SOWs and ensuring it fits within SYF’s strategy roadmap. Works collaboratively with Sourcing & business leaders. Identifies and implements continuous improvements for key supplier management processes.

Essential Responsibilities:
Complies with all Synchrony Supplier Risk Management Program Requirements including supplier Risk/Issue management, training, supplier management forums, maintain and execute ongoing monitoring tasks according to standards, additional supplier onboarding.
Builds and maintains strong relationships with Fiserv & implements oversight and governance plans to effectively monitor metrics, SLAs and quality of services.
Creates reporting to ensure 2nd and 3rd line have a full view of Fiserv’s performance, i.e. Fiserv Governance reporting materials
Builds strong relationships with Tech & Ops leaders, their respective teams and with suppliers.
Ensures ongoing oversight and maintenance of program documentation as required.
Participate and/or lead supplier onsite assessments.
Assists with a program to ensure review of all contractual monitoring documentation (FFIEC, SSAE16, and audit). Summarizes and communicates findings to the team.
Performs supplier oversight & management activities, including regular follow-up/completing necessary documentation.
Responsible for facilitating cross functional discussions with SYF and Fiserv specific function. For example: InfoSec teams, Resiliency discussions, Cloud discussions
Participates in supplier Contract Negotiations
Acts a 1st line of defense ensuring that Supplier Management processes & controls are effective
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business management or related field, with a minimum of 3 years working in Financial Services technology; OR in lieu of the Bachelor's degree, a minimum of 7 years of experience in Financial Services.
Experience working with vendor supplied products and services
Experience working in a highly regulated industry
Experience working with supplier contracts.

Experience with supplier management program office, suppliers, and Technology and Operations teams to prioritize requirements, improve processes, and drive supplier management and supplier risk programs

Grade/Level: 11
The salary range for this position is 90,000.00 - 155,000.00 USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.
Actual compensation offered within the posted salary range will be based upon work experience, skill level or knowledge.
Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro and Seattle.
Eligibility Requirements:
You must be 18 years or older
You must have a high school diploma or equivalent
You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process
You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months’ time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 18 months’ time in position before they can post. All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don’t meet the time in position or performance expectations).
