As a Software Engineer II, you'll be building Microservices, MFE's, API's and managing an amazing team of engineers working on our applications leveraging cloud technologies.

Occasionally you may be required to commute to our nearest office for in person engagement activities such as business or team meetings, training and culture events.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Build Microservices, MFE's & API's leveraging cloud technologies with high quality and sound design principles
  • Manage DevOps pipelines for Microservices, MFE's & API's
  • Analyze production defects, troubleshoot systems, identify root cause and implement fixes
  • Work with third party vendors to develop software and / or integrate their software into our products
  • Coach Junior Engineers and empower them to work efficiently
  • Review and Approve code modules using formal approval process
  • Participate in Agile scrums with cross-functional teams
  • Participate in Agile sprints including story writing, planning, daily standups, backlog grooming sessions and reviews
  • Participate in SAFe ceremonies
  • Provide on-call support
  • Analyze production defects, troubleshoot systems, identify root cause and implement fixes
  • Perform other duties and / or special projects as assigned

Required Skills / Knowledge :

  • Bachelor's Degree with minimum 2 Years of experience in Technology with a or in lieu of degree, minimum of 4 years of experience in Technology.
  • Minimum 2 years of strong Technical Expertise in Java, Spring Projects - Spring Boot, Spring Framework, React JS, Spring Cloud, Git, Maven, REST and SOAP
  • Minimum 2 years of strong Experience with Agile application development and familiarity with tools like JIRA
  • Minimum 2 years of strong Experience with continuous integration environments and using tools like Jenkins
  • Minimum 2 years of strong Experience with Cloud Platforms like Pivotal Cloud Foundry & AWS.
  • Experience writing unit, integration and e2e tests using frameworks like Junit, Mockito, Spring Test
  • Experience in Test Driven Development
  • Experience with continuous integration environments and using tools like Jenkins
  • Strong desire to develop high quality code with ability to review and leverage quality check tools like Sonar, PMD etc.
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies and frameworks
  • Ability to analyze, use structured problem solving and available tools to troubleshoot systems, identify root cause, action plans, impact and resolution options
  • Desired Skills / Knowledge :

  • Familiarity in designing application using SOLID principles, Java and microservice design patterns with business acumen
  • Working knowledge in RDBMS

  • Grade / Level : 09

    The salary range for this position is 85,000.00 - 140,000.00 USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.

    Actual compensation offered within the posted salary range will be based upon work experience, skill level or knowledge.

    Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro and Seattle.

    Eligibility Requirements :

  • You must be 18 years or older
  • You must have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process
  • You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
  • New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months' time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 18 months' time in position before they can post. All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don't meet the time in position or performance expectations).
