Role Summary/Purpose:
As key leadership role within Emerging Channel team, this role will deliver great customer experience, that is consistent with Synchrony brand, by working with a team of Product Managers and business function teams across the organization. This role will partner with various functions to identify and recommend various aspects of consumer experience online for Synchrony. This role will also lead key projects for Digital technology that involves various business stakeholders, database and system teams. In addition, this role will be responsible for partnership with the compliance organization.

Essential Responsibilities:
Lead a team of Product/channel experts and product owners
Manage, develop and drive the roadmap for digital channels, inclusive of the consumer and partner vision, as well as relevant marketplace trends and competitive assessments.
Own the business architecture of solutions across digital channels
Manage and prioritize the flow of work, including coordination of multiple teams using Scaled Agile methodology.
Participate in the Agile Program Increment (PI) planning to define releases.
Participate and lead the project steering committee meetings and work with stakeholders on prioritization and issues.
Own the overall delivery of all technical aspects of digital channel projects.
Execute Critical projects for all digital channel and Tools development
Help in execution of an omni-channel content strategy that enables engagement and conversion through email, social and online
Work with business stakeholders to create digital campaigns and solutions
Develop expertise in real-time personalization strategies
Work with analytics team to set and report on KPIs
Educate colleagues on best practices, what's working and what's not
Partner with others on team and across the business to develop and support web and native app go-t-market strategy
Develop and optimize site content
Ensure proper tagging at the page and site levels
Manage and optimize SEO strategy
Communicate market, competitor and user insights to inform our customer experience strategies and product planning
Effectively manage projects and lead vendor/agency relationships as needed
Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or, in lieu of a degree, a high school diploma/GED and 11 years of digital marketing experience

7 years of digital marketing experience that includes:
- Please leadership, experience developing and executing personalization, SEO tactics, tagging technology, data integration and Web and App technology platforms
- 5 years of project management experience, including efficiency in agile methodology
- Strong internal candidate identified, others are encouraged to apply

You are in-the-know of all things digital and can speak well to the latest trends in web experience, content, mobile, ecommerce, payments, etc.
Enjoy a balance of strategic work with hands-on-implementation
Organized, resourceful and results-driven; tenacity to get stuff done.
High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
Can self-manage and work autonomously with a remote, dispersed team
Grade/Level: 13
The salary range for this position is 130,000.00 - 210,000.00 USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.
Actual compensation offered within the posted salary range will be based upon work experience, skill level or knowledge.
Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro and Seattle.
Eligibility Requirements:
You must be 18 years or older
You must have a high school diploma or equivalent
You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process
You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months’ time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 18 months’ time in position before they can post. All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don’t meet the time in position or performance expectations).
