Role Summary/Purpose:
The VP, Strategic Supplier Transformation Office is responsible for strategic initiatives in support of the Fiserv relationship including Optis Transformation and implementing new release processes as Fiserv moves to Agile development. The VP, Strategic Supplier Transformation Office will have extensive knowledge of Fiserv product.

Essential Responsibilities:
Partner with leadership to identify and define strategic initiatives for the Fiserv relationship.
Knowledgeable about SYF’s relationship with Fiserv and Fiserv services we procure.
Lead cross functional teams in designing and building solutions with Fiserv.
Provide Program Management oversight for large strategic initiatives impacting all three towers of the Fiserv relationship.
Knowledgeable about Agile
Act as Project Manager for large scale initiatives that involve Fiserv’s infrastructure changes.
An ability to conceptualize complex ideas quickly and convey them to others in a clear, effective, and motivating manner
Interact cross functionally within Tech to prioritize initiatives at Fiserv.
Work in a constantly evolving environment, due to technological advances and the strategic direction of the organization.
Create technical specifications and standards as needed. Drive innovation and efficiencies in working with Fiserv.
Work with broader tech teams to ensure their test plans are adequate to ensure safer Fiserv releases.
Interact cross functionality with the broader team managing the relationship with Fiserv, including tech teams and supplier management teams
Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or related field, with a minimum of 3 years working in Financial Services technology; OR in lieu of the Bachelor's degree, a minimum of 7 years of experience in Financial Services.
Experience working with vendor supplied products and services
Experience working with Service Now as well as working with changes and incident management
Experience working with supplier contracts.
Experience working with Agile

The salary range for this position is 110,000.00 - 185,000.00 USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.
Actual compensation offered within the posted salary range will be based upon work experience, skill level or knowledge.
Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro and Seattle.
Eligibility Requirements:
You must be 18 years or older
You must have a high school diploma or equivalent
You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process
You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months’ time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 18 months’ time in position before they can post. All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don’t meet the time in position or performance expectations).
