Responsibilities
- Conduct routine tests on raw materials and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards
- Document and analyze test results, preparing reports for management review
- Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment to ensure accurate measurements
- Work closely with production personnel to investigate quality issues and implement corrective actions
- Assist in developing and updating quality control procedures
- Participate in regular quality audits and inspections
- Keep the laboratory environment organized and comply with safety standards
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in a technical field preferred
- Experience in a quality control laboratory or similar role within the plastics or manufacturing industry
- Familiarity with laboratory equipment and testing methods for quality assurance
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and reporting
- Good organizational skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively
