Syndeo Staffing has a direct hire opportunity as a Blender and Loader Operator to join a family-owned ag-fertilizer supply company. The Blender and Loader Operator is responsible for operating a front-end loader, forklift, and blending equipment to blend raw materials according to specific formulations. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a manufacturing or production environment, possess a strong attention to detail, and have the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate blending equipment according to production schedule and specific formulations.
- Operate a front-end loader and forklift to safely and efficiently move and load dry ingredients into a hopper.
- Operate and tend machine to blend materials.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on the loader and forklift to ensure they are functioning properly.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure tasks are completed on time and according to specifications.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform routine maintenance as needed.
- Clean and organize work area to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience operating a front-end loader and blending equipment in a manufacturing or production setting.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions.
- Ability to lift and move heavy materials as needed.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Basic math skills and ability to accurately weigh materials.
- Previous experience operating a front-end loader and forklift.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Proactive attitude.
SCHEDULE / PAY
- $16 Per hour DOE
- Minimum 42.5 hours per week additional OT as needed
- Typical schedule will be between 6am & 5pm Mon-Fri
