What are the responsibilities and job description for the Regional Class A CDL Driver (In State) position at Syndeo?
Syndeo Staffing is looking for an over the road (OTR) Truck Driver for a local concrete and masonry company.
As a Driver you will have the basic function of pulling orders, loading and unloading trucks, deliver to job sites and customer contacts. When not driving this position will also assist with loading customers, stocking materials, and filling steel orders.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM. Schedule can vary depending on the deliveries. There is the possibility of overnight stops but they are not common, and deliveries can be throughout the state but are mostly local. The position will require a class A license. This position will include warehouse duties when deliveries are low.
Pay: $24/hour depending on experience
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Daily vehicle inspection
- Operate flatbed trucks over the road semis
- Operate forklift trucks
- Any work assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor and routes as assigned
- Delivery and pick up of equipment and materials
- Complete documentation of manifests
- Must ensure that truck is loaded safely, legally, ad loads are in order to allow for the quickest unloading method
- Must follow all safety rules and regulations including DOT regulations
- Must be able to fall maps, written and verbal instructions
- Must perform general maintenance on trucks (checking oil, and fuel levels)
- perform all duties of a warehouseman in the company's warehouse when not making deliveries
- Must be cheerful when interacting with all customers
- Hazmat and Tanker endorsement preferred
