We are looking for a reliable and skilled Early Morning Baker to join our team and ensure our customers start their day with fresh, high-quality baked goods.
Job Responsibilities:
- Arrive at 3 AM to begin the baking process, ensuring all baked goods are fresh and ready for the day.
- Prepare and bake a variety of items, including pastries, muffins, croissants, cookies, and other baked goods.
- Follow standardized recipes and portion control to maintain consistency in taste and presentation.
- Monitor oven temperatures and baking times to ensure proper cooking.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Manage inventory of baking ingredients and supplies, notifying management when stock needs replenishing.
- Work efficiently under time constraints, ensuring all items are ready before the morning rush.
- Assist in developing new recipes and seasonal baked goods.
Requirements:
- Ability to work early morning shifts reliably (3 AM start time).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (flour bags, trays, etc.).
- Familiarity with commercial baking equipment (mixers, ovens, proofers, etc.).
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Food handler’s certification (or willingness to obtain one).
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $16.50 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 15 per week
