Key Responsibilities
- Partner with cross-functional teams to support product development goals across assigned categories.
- Support and attend weekly Product Development and SSR meetings, capturing critical updates and action items.
- Maintain detailed and accurate production charts and tools aligned with the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system.
- Manage and support product timelines, ensuring milestones such as product approvals, purchase order due dates, and validations are met.
- Communicate key product details—including costing, minimum order quantities, and timelines—to vendors, agents, and internal partners.
- Support cost negotiations for new product introductions while adhering to financial targets and design intent.
- Troubleshoot and follow up on timeline risks, helping to identify proactive solutions.
- Ensure sourcing activities are aligned with the process and strategic goals of the business.
Qualifications
- Must have recent experience in the retail industry—home goods, fashion, beauty, or similar consumer categories.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel—pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data tracking, and reporting will be part of the daily workflow.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and committed to meeting deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a service-oriented mindset.
- Able to work independently and take ownership while thriving in a collaborative, dynamic environment.
- Experience working with PLM systems and managing product development timelines.
- Flexible and adaptable to changing business needs and shifting priorities.
