Our challenge
We are looking for an experienced Release Train Engineer (RTE) with a strong background in the Banking domain to lead our Agile Release Train (ART) and facilitate the successful delivery of products and services. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Agile methodologies, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record of managing complex projects in a banking environment.
Additional Information*
The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Dallas, TX / Pittsburgh, PA is $110k - $120k/year & benefits (see below).

The Role
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate Agile Release Train (ART): Lead and facilitate ART ceremonies, including PI Planning, Scrum of Scrums, and Inspect and Adapt sessions, ensuring alignment and collaboration among teams.
- Program Management: Manage and coordinate the release planning process, ensuring that all teams are aligned and that dependencies are identified and managed effectively.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with Product Management, Business Owners, and other stakeholders to ensure the vision and goals of the ART are understood and met.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive a culture of continuous improvement within the ART, facilitating discussions on process enhancements and implementing best practices.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks and impediments that may impact the delivery of the program, ensuring timely resolution and escalation when necessary.
- Reporting and Metrics: Provide visibility into program progress through metrics and reporting, ensuring that stakeholders are informed of progress, risks, and issues.
- Coaching and Mentoring: Coach and mentor teams in Agile practices, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and high performance.
- Experience level 10 Years.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience as a Release Train Engineer or in a similar role within an Agile environment.
- Proven experience in the Banking domain, with a strong understanding of banking products, services, and regulatory requirements.
- Certified SAFe Release Train Engineer (RTE).
- Agile Expertise: Deep understanding of Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and experience in implementing Agile frameworks in large organizations.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and facilitation skills, with the ability to influence and motivate teams.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar project management tools is preferred.
- Availability for occasional travel to support team collaboration, PI Planning and stakeholder meetings.
