Our challenge

We are looking for a highly skilled and driven Business Analyst – Capital Markets/Payments with over 10 years of professional experience. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in software development, particularly within the banking, investment banking, or credit card industry sectors. The role requires a deep understanding of credit card/payment industries or similar and the ability to lead and mentor a development team, while ensuring high-quality, scalable, and efficient code. Strong expertise in Java development, coupled with a strong background in financial services, is essential for success in this position.

Additional Information

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Charlotte, NC with salary 110,000-120,000/ year & benefits.

The Role

Responsibilities:

• Gather and analyze business requirements related to capital markets and payments systems.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business processes and propose technology solutions.
• Document functional specifications, business workflows, and process improvements.
• Support the design, development, and implementation of capital market/payment solutions.
• Conduct gap analysis to identify areas of improvement and provide recommendations.
• Assist in the testing and validation of new features and functionality for payment platforms.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and industry standards in payment systems.
