Our challenge
We are looking for a highly skilled and driven Full Stack Java Developer with over 10 years of professional experience. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in software development, particularly within the banking, investment banking, or credit card industry sectors. The role requires a deep understanding of credit card/payment industries or similar and the ability to lead and mentor a development team, while ensuring high-quality, scalable, and efficient code. Strong expertise in Python development, coupled with a strong background in financial services, is essential for success in this position.
Additional Information
The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Minneapolis, MN with salary $110,000-$115,000/ year & benefits.
The Role
Responsibilities:
- Able to Develop and maintain web applications using Java (Spring Boot) and React.js.
- Able to Implement RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services.
- Able to Design and optimize SQL queries for database performance.
- Able to Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
- Able to Collaborate with front-end and back-end teams to deliver complete solutions.
- Able to Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
- Able to Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize web applications.
- Able to Stay updated with the latest trends in Java and React development.
- Able to Ensure application scalability, security, and performance.
- Able to Follow Agile methodologies and participate in daily standups and sprint planning.
- Able to Perform unit testing and ensure the quality of the code.
- Able to Work closely with designers to implement responsive UIs.
Requirements:
You are:
- Strong experience in Java (Spring Boot).
- Proficient in React.js and related libraries.
- Knowledge of REST APIs and microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with databases (SQL, NoSQL).
- Strong understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Experience with version control tools like Git.
- Familiar with Agile/Scrum practices.
