Our challenge
As a Senior Java React Full Stack Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications that provide exceptional user experiences. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet our business needs.
Additional Information*
The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Minneapolis, MN is $120k - $130k/year & benefits (see below).
The Role
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Java and React.js.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
- Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Debug and resolve technical issues as they arise.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure our solutions are cutting-edge.
- Mentor junior developers and assist in their professional growth.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 14 years of professional experience in software development with a strong focus on Java, including frameworks such as Spring Boot.
- 7 years of extensive experience with React.js and modern JavaScript frameworks/libraries.
- Solid understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with RESTful API design and development.
- Familiarity with database technologies such as SQL and NoSQL.
- Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred, but not required:
- Experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit, Selenium).
- Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
