Our challenge

We are seeking a skilled Java Full Stack Developer with a strong background in React to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications, ensuring a seamless user experience and robust back-end functionality. Candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet business requirements.

Additional Information*

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Minneapolis, MN is $125k - $135k/year & benefits (see below).

The Role

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance web applications using Java, Spring Boot, and React.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications, providing timely solutions to technical issues.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Work with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends and apply them to improve our software solutions.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to team knowledge sharing.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 14 years of professional experience in software development.
• Strong proficiency in Java and experience with Spring Boot framework.
• Extensive experience with front-end technologies, particularly React.js and Redux.
• Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred, but not required:

• Experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit, Selenium).
• Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
