Our Challenges:
We are looking for a talented Java Developer with experience in the banking domain to join our innovative team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-performance applications that support our banking operations. You will work closely with various stakeholders to deliver solutions that enhance our services and customer experience.
Additional Information
The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Rutherford, New Jersey is $90k - $100k/year & benefits (see below).
The Role
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust Java applications tailored for the banking sector.
- Collaborate with business analysts and product owners to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Implement banking-specific features such as transaction processing, account management, and compliance reporting.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Conduct unit tests and integration testing to ensure software quality.
- Analyze and resolve application issues in a timely manner.
- Participate in code reviews and maintain coding standards.
- Stay updated with banking regulations, industry trends, and emerging technologies.
Requirement:
You are:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 6-10 years experience as a Java Developer with a focus on the banking or financial services sector.
- Strong proficiency in Java Spring, Spring boot, Microservices.
- Experience with database technologies (e.g., Oracle, MySQL) and SQL.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services.
- Understanding of banking processes, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and software development life cycle (SDLC).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
