Our Challenge:
As a Manual/UAT Tester, you will collaborate with stakeholders across the business to work on complex technical requirements. You will be responsible for managing multiple engagements, prioritize and resolve complex problems and escalate as necessary, in a fast-paced environment.
The Role
Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, design, and execution of manual test cases and user acceptance testing strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and to ensure quality standards are met.
- Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs through to resolution.
- Perform regression testing when bugs are resolved.
- Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs.
- Liaise with internal teams (e.g., developers and product managers) to identify system requirements.
- Monitor debugging process results.
- Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.
- Provide timely and detailed feedback to improve product quality and mitigate risk of product failure.
- Mentor junior testers, providing guidance and support as needed.
Requirements:
You are:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in manual testing and user acceptance testing.
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing.
- Experience with SQL and scripting.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
- Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and analytical skills.
It would be great if you also had:
- Certifications such as ISTQB Advanced Tester, CSTE, or equivalent.
- Experience with automated testing tools is advantageous.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
