Our challenge

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Oracle Database Administrator with expertise in PostgreSQL and MS SQL. This is an exciting opportunity to make an impact on transformative projects in a dynamic and innovative environment.

The Role

Responsibilities:

• Administer and maintain Oracle and MS SQL databases, ensuring high performance, availability, and security.
• Optimize database performance by tuning queries, indexes, and configurations for efficiency.
• Implement backup, disaster recovery, and replication strategies to ensure data integrity and system reliability.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to design and optimize database structures and queries.
• Monitor database health, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards.

Requirements:

You are:

• Hands-on experience as a Database Administrator, with a strong focus on Oracle databases.
• In-depth knowledge of PostgreSQL and SQL Server database management and troubleshooting.
• Solid experience with Linux-based operating systems and tools for managing databases (e.g., shell scripting, performance tuning).
• Experience with database performance tuning, query optimization, and index management.
• Expertise in database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Familiarity with high availability and replication techniques in database systems.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Additional Information: The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with FL law, the base salary for this role if filled within these locations, is $110K-$115K/year & benefits (see below).
