Our challenge
As an Oracle Database Architect, the candidate will be responsible in designing, developing database solutions enhancements in automating regulatory report generation process.
The Role
Responsibilities:
- Performance tuning of the existing application to enable fast and reliable intraday activities for the end users.
- Active contribution to application lifecycle including maintenance, release management, critical bug fixing and ensure error free delivery of the software solution.
- Communicate effectively to obtain agreement between business partners and escalate items, when needed, to ensure execution activities remain on track.
- Troubleshoot problems in Production and lower environments
- Partner well with the Scrum Master, Project Manager, and other Agile team members.
Requirements:
You are:
- Hands-on experience in Database architecture and development with Oracle 12c/19c with efficient
- SQL, performance tuning and debugging skills.
- Good understanding of data warehousing tools such as Informatica with efficient data transformation and processing skills.
- Good understanding of Job Schedulers like Autosys, Python programming language and Unix Shell Scripting.
- Domain knowledge of Investment Banking/Regulatory reporting is a plus.
- A good technical aptitude with an ability to take direction and lead as and when necessary
- An ability to contribute constructively in open discussions and being able to work with competing ideas to achieve project success with approved ideas.
- Critical thinking and Problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of Agile Principles
