Our challenge
We are seeking an experienced Program Manager with a strong background in change management to lead and manage strategic initiatives within our banking and financial services domain. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully implementing change management strategies and processes that align with organizational goals and enhance overall performance.
Additional Information
The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Pittsburgh, PA/ Dallas, TX is $110K - $120K/year & benefits (see below).
The Role
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage complex programs from initiation through to completion, ensuring alignment with business objectives and stakeholder expectations.
- Develop and implement change management strategies and plans that minimize resistance and maximize stakeholder engagement in the transition process.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior management, business units, and external partners, to ensure effective communication and collaboration throughout the program lifecycle.
- Identify potential risks and issues related to program implementation and change initiatives, and develop mitigation strategies to address them proactively.
- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of change initiatives and provide regular updates to senior leadership.
- Design and deliver training programs and resources to support employees during transitions, ensuring they are equipped to adapt to new processes and systems.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for process enhancements and sharing best practices across the organization.
Requirements:
You are:
- Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- A Master s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, Prosci) is preferred.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in program management, with a specific focus on change management within the banking and financial services domain.
- Strong understanding of change management principles and methodologies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Proficient in project management tools and software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry best practices in banking and financial services.
