Our Challenge:
We are looking for a skilled QA Automation Engineer with a strong background in the banking domain to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and performance of our banking applications. You will play a critical role in the software development lifecycle, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software products.

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors.
In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Newark, DE is $100k-$110k/year & benefits (see below).
The Role
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing of banking applications.
- Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and developers to understand requirements and translate them into test cases.
- Implement and enhance test automation frameworks and tools to improve test coverage and efficiency.
- Execute automated tests, analyze results, and report findings to stakeholders.
- Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools, ensuring timely resolution.
- Work with DevOps teams to integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to test strategy discussions.
- Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements affecting the banking sector.
Requirements:
You are:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 7 years of experience in QA automation testing, preferably in the banking or financial services sector.
- Proficiency in automation testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar frameworks.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
- Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI) and performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter).
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate in a team environment.
It would be great if you also had:
- Experience with security testing principles and tools in the banking domain.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) are a plus.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards in the banking sector (e.g., PCI DSS, SOX).
